Chaga Mushroom Benefits as an Immune Supporting Superfood

preview_player
Показать описание
Chaga mushroom, Inonotus obliquus, is a medicinal mushroom variety often wildcrafted from living birch trees in colder climates of the Northern Hemisphere. It has been a widely utilized ethnobotanical species in Russia, Scandinavia and Baltic regions throughout human history. Its highly adaptable nature is known to encourage the release and concentration of immune responsive compounds, antioxidants and various phytochemicals needed for its continued survival.

Consumed as a decocted tea, hot water extract or liquid solution, it is considered a nourishing "superfood" and medicine for its transferred immune-modulating and protective influence. Here in this video, we will discuss chaga-specific nutrients and how this profound species can serve as a preventative approach to support long-term health.

I'm a chaga forager and have raw chaga fresh from the woods or dry and ready to use. I also lead hunts for chaga and other wild mushrooms. I'm in Northern NY state Adirondack mountain region. Big chaga sustainably harvested. Plenty of clean chaga up here.

I like this version better. I forage and consume chaga almost every day. I drink it cold with cranberry juice as an energy drink. Some people say it's not really a food. I would disagree. As an energy drink it seems to suppress hunger and give one energy. I hike a ll day sometimes in hot weather carrying up to a sixty pound pack of chaga or other mushrooms. I'm not a young man either.

What about the oxilate warnings and the fact that human are designed like trees? Just a theory out there on the fringe. But, that could be why it cleans out the bodies toxicity. Or consumes it like it does with the trees.

I wouldn't waste chaga as a food, its true benefit is in its fire lighting ability. I just wish I could could get it in Australia like I could before covid.

Thanks! When you make tea from powdered form, is it ok to take the undissolved powder on the bottom or throw them away?
