Replaced the whole ignition assembly and it came with two new keys I just opened them up and swapped the insides from the old keys to the new key and it works perfectly now thanks for the informative video you saved me from going to the dealership!

The dealer cut my key, programmed it to my immobilizer, and set up the remote for $186, why not have a spare?

I bought a flip key fob and got the key cut but it doesn't work.

Mine doesn’t have the green key icon and it doesn’t even turn over ! It has a new battery but the key is cracked same place but I’m so confused

So you took the old key-fob over to the new key, just pop it open and take out the entire insides ( key-fob) right ? But will they cut a key you brought offline, because the dealer charges you $204.00 for a new key and program it. It’s Crazy, thanks for that simple solution 🏆👍

Now my question is if my lock cylinder is worn and giving me issues can replace the ignition pin it to my orignal key and use my old immobilizer and key fob?

The dashboard on mine wont turn on, so it doesnt let the car read my key, how can i fix that?
