New species revealed - Critically Endangered Bat

This week, we announce a brand new species at the Zoo. We will be the only collection on mainland UK who are holding this species and one of only 3 Zoos in the world keeping them... what is it?

That's fabulous. We were members of Chester Zoo for a number of years when my son was small. The bat cave was his favourite exhibit - he loved it when the bats would fly past his head. We now live near your zoo and his dream job is to be a keeper at your zoo. He's starting at Kirkley in two years, hopefully, to train. He is so excited at you having bats and would like to know if you will be able to walk through the enclosure like you cold in Chester?
