The former prosecutor is correct in saying that attacking the prosecutor instead of focusing on the alleged crimes is a huge mistake, it's actually the worst mistake they could make, because it costs them their credibility. A court's job is only to prosecute crime.. not pass moral judgement. So the allegation of 'moral equivalence' is nonsense. Requesting an arrest warrant is simply a procedure necessary to prosecute crime.

Well, Putin seems to love the criticism of the ICC. It's almost an endorsement of his actions.

Discussion of facts and their relation to law is what counts. I believe this is what is contained in the ICC accusation. It is the Court, and not the prosecutor, which may then convict or absolve. That is how it should be. Let Israel show up and put forth a factual and legally based argument, and attend to consequence, including full exoneration/condemnation as warranted.
