Ours howls to complain, howls to request for food or water, howls to get attention when sometimes ignored due to work, howls when he wants to open a door. I haven't heard him bark yet. 2-3 month-old Husky.

Recently I had to euthanize my second husky. After the injection he gave a closed mouth-howl. I like to think he saw my first husky and he was howling to join her.
