Best F2P Exotics & How to Get Them Solo

There are tons of great exotics that don't require any paid DLCs so I decided to create a list of the best free to play exotics and how to get them solo. I ranked them in order of top 10 so be sure to watch through to the end to see the best exotic that you need to get, it might surprise you. All of these exotics are possible to get solo and free to play since they don't require any paid expansions. Are there any other exotics you would add to the list? Little extra nugget of info about Arbalest that wasnt said in the video: regardless of difficulty, whether your playing a grandmaster or a hero nightfall, Arbalest will always be able to crack any elemental shield in one shot. Great vid btw!

Monte Calro + Sunbracers on top tree warlock is also incredibly busted
You can get up to 6 grenades off a melee ability kill (thanks to sunbracers) and get the damage buff running

Good content. There's a few exotics here I love. Really like Sunshot but the trouble is that so much of the high level content such as the raids and nightfalls call for a mod so this hand cannon is obsolete. Still enjoy using it for low level strikes and ad clears. I've just got the arbalest catalyst. The weapon works well if you get precision shots but feels so underwhelming when you shoot a powerful ogre in the back. That long charge time and the little weak squidgy noise it makes when you fire. I find that by the time you've aimed to shoot, the enemy has moved and you've wasted a shot. I've heard that the Witch Queen expansion will offer the chance to get the Outbreak catalyst at which point I'll definitely be grabbing that. Really enjoyed this guide. combine montycarlo with sunbracers for infinite melee and grenade :). every melee kill gives about 5 extra long lasting grenades to spam, and then just get your melee back and another melee kill to do it again. Shreds.

Little pro tip for risk runner. Unless it has been patch (I do not know, honestly) you can self inflict damage with your own arc grenades and activate it's perk.

trinity ghoul is also great as its one of the best add clearing options in the game with its catalyst. Its a world drop

Bro ive been trying to get Sunshot for so long. Whenever I play a class I instantly find myself attracted to weapons and gear that can be linked back to that class. For hunters I love hand cannons because thats their signature weapon, and when youre first making a character the Hunter is using the Sunshot, but with Sunshot if you read the lore it was made by a Titan, and since Ive recently become a titan main once I found that out I wanted it even more. I have like 4 weapons left in Engrams, I keep pulling heavy ammo weapons and grenade launcher but eventually Ill get there

If you really want to, you can put a pulse grenade on the ground on an arc subclass, then you can get the risk runner perk up and running

for the riskrunner you can throw a arc grenade at your feet and you will take arc damage triggering arc conductor

Fun fact, you can also trigger riskrunners arc conductor by throwing a grenade that does ark damage at your feet. I'm a hunter whos build is mainly focused around combonation blow and doing this with risk runner is amazing and I can clear rooms filled with ads in seconds

The Whisper now actually works differently. Every three crits it pulls 2 shots from reserves and 1 shot from thin air.
