Before I got Ad Infinitum I had like 35 ascended back items, all from different collections and achievements like Raise The Banners and such, or from Bitterfrost salesman, but in all that time acquiring those items that would all get salvaged once the Legendary was mine, in all that time I NEVER knew about this one! Cheers mate!!

These were actually the very first ascended back items introduced into the game in 2012 iirc. Back in the day you couldnt stat select them though, needed 250 blood for berserker's and so on and so on.

That was my 1st ascended backpack! And omg that was so expensive for me back when I did it. But, eh, that was a time when you didn't get 2g just for doing 10mn dailies. x)

Another tip: The antique armour set from from EOD. Even non-eod players can buy the armor skins on the TP cheaply. You get an ascended cape skin for collecting all skins -also in berserker stats.
18 armour skins / 1 cape skin / 1 ascended backpiece. can't complain

Some ascended bp have good skin in them. Worth collecting tbh.

If you own the PoF expansion you can also do the 4 "Raise the Banners" achievements. They are easy and get you 1 ascended backpack each but the only downside is you gotta do the story on 3 different toons in order to go down the 3 diff very minor story paths for the achievs.
