I feel like Depths of Illusive Realm is a good start. It's an alternate gameplay mode that gives a unique experience with the available characters, and they seem committed to updating it every patch with new content. To me, Illusive Realm updates are the thing I look forward to the most with each patch (along with new characters, since those offer trial versions for the Illusive Realm of that patch). One potential issue with this mode is that it doesn't use your echoes, so you don't really need to build characters for it.

I would like to see some dungeons. I think the story quests have done a good job with this, and adding more content like that would be nice if they could find a way to do it that makes sense for them. A randomly generated dungeon crawl mode (with or without roguelike progression) would be an interesting form of replayable content.

I'm not super big on the hologram fights, but I'm happy to see Crownless get added and I imagine we'll be getting more of these in the future for people that enjoy learning boss patterns.

At the end of the day though, this is a gacha game, so I suspect that any content that is included without astrites will be seen as a waste of time by most people, and since they can't just have an infinitely-replayable event with an astrite reward, once the rewards are bought out most people won't bother playing the content again. I think that a shop that resets every patch is probably the best option given that there aren't really any good solutions to this.

Unfortunately, this game is suffering an identity crisis and it's tearing it apart. At its core it is still a mobile game. The problem with this is that they cannot push a lot of aspects because it will not be accessible to mobile users and to stay true to it being a mobile game.
-Graphics cannot be too complex. The presentation(scale of set pieces, number of enemies at a given time, etc.) is going to be held back to accommodate mobile users.
-The game cannot be too difficult. Playing on mobile platform at a high level is VERY difficult. This can be lessened with in game controller support but will be a huge turn off for a lot casuals.
-The tasks need to be easily digestible within a few mins. Mobile games are typically considered side games. Injecting more MMO elements into it will inevitably clash with the typical structure of Mobile games. MMOs demand hours of to maintain. Wuwa right now has one of the longest time to finish for dailies. In addition to this, Echo farming in the overworld is a turn off for a lot of casual mobile game players. A lot of them have quit because of this.

Kuro will inevitably need to make a choice down the line. They cannot keep trying to capture audiences that are on different ends of the spectrum. The more they do this, the more this game is going to end up being mediocre and waste a lot of its potential.

Game need more weekly/biweekly/monthly combat modes like PGR. In PGR you got Warzones, Phantom Pain Cage, Clash Reflection and Norman. While WuWa only has Tower of Adversary and Illusive Realm.

Excellent video, my brother! All great points. The one thing Gacha games seem to do is kind of a half-in/half-out sort of approach to their games, for the sake of the Gacha system. What I mean is there's been several instances where it almost felt like they want you to play their games, but not too much. Like the weekly podcast points cap. You get to the cap, and any rewards you'd get from them, you just don't get. When it resets, all of it gets wiped, and you feel like you've missed out on those points you've earned.
Another instance is looting. As you play the game more, and more you run out of loot sources for things like astrites, and UL EXP. Since they don't respawn you're left with very few sources to gain the two most important resources in the game. Yes, you can do the different forges, tower, tacet fields, and so on, but you're still limited to your waveplate consumption. My point to all of this is I really enjoy being in the game, and playing it, (even the grinding for resources), but once those resources are consumed there's not much left to incentivize you to stay in the beautiful world they've created.
The game becomes trivialized, and more of a "get in, get out" sort of affair rather than "I'm gonna sit down and enjoy this for a few hours." My hot take is make it a regular game in the sense of resources, but leave the pulls, and that part of the Gacha system in place. There's nothing worse than finally getting the character you've blown 50 pulls on, only to have to wait to use them for several days so you can try to level them to where the rest of the team is. (No, I haven't gotten Verina yet, lol.) But I've felt that with several other characters.

Agree. If I suggest a event for wuwa it should be event where you can also train your parry technique something like that.

100% agree. I've said since before launch: no one wants another Genshin. Not even people that love Genshin. The typical gacha tropes of random events and the same lame combat room with different backgrounds and boardgame-like rules hold both games back from their potential. They stepped into the area where the gameplay is the draw unlike typical gachas. WuWa definitely will do better if they lean entirely on that gameplay.

All they need to do is make sure there are expedition/sweep/auto options for the players without a lot of time.

You need to play less and take care of your family.

Wuwa boring these days you can't build new characters because it's hard to farm echo main stats and exp and trash rng sub stats 🤣

I do not understand why people are so surprised. WuWa is 100% a Genshin clone. When people claim that Genshin is a copy of BoTW, it is the same as saying that Call of Duty is a clone of Doom. Yes, Genshin is in the same genre as BoTW, but it is its own thing. Now, WuWa is 100% a Genshin clone, from the most basic gameplay loop mechanics to updates, events, exploration, monetization, and content delivery. Aside from the combat mechanics, world movement, and aesthetics, WuWa follows 100% in the footsteps of Genshin. You explore in the same way, gather resources to level characters in the same way, get events in the same way, and interact with the map and world in the same way. You also get the same monetization. The story progression and lore are delivered in the same way, so the game will work exactly like Genshin in the foreseeable future. You will experience dead patches, silly little events, log in daily for a 10-minute maintenance, and log off. Every 3-4 months, you will get a content drop with a new zone. You will explore it, do the story, And get the chest, maybe some new holos, and then you sit tight doing dailies and little silly events until the next big content drop with little history and zone patches to promote the new character every 3-4 weeks.

genshin came out during the same year as covid so that helped out alot
wuwu need a better way to optimize stuff and wuwu defo more skill based
since the game is still fairly new i am sure they have stuff plan down the line / i also think they have a another new area coming soon
another thing is i just wish domain and other stuff cost a bit less "resin" to use/do
