To prevent misunderstanding, all bicep curl variations hit all of your biceps head as a whole, so these should be used if one head of your biceps are bigger or smaller compared to the other head

I think it will be useful to do a side-by-side edit instead when the highlighted muscle groups are this close to each other to be able to tell the difference

don't want to be the nerd but biceps work as a whole muscle and you can never bias any head with any exercise variation they both work in a ratio that doesn't change no matter what

Your first grip is wrong you should hold that gripped surface not the curve .if you are focusing wide grip then its ok

Makes sense actually, all I do is reverse curls and close grip bicep curls. Usually do 70/80lbs for 12-15 on reverse and try to do 90+ for biceps

Why is it i can lift more on ez bar than a straight bar 10kg difference i hold the bar where it just starts to slope so wrists are slightly turned

Its wrong. The same biceps head works in both exercises. But in 1 version works only biceps and In 2 exercise works biceps and forearm
