Elden Ring - Top 5 Best Glintstone Magic Staffs and Where to Find Them

Glinstone Staves are a type of Weapon in Elden Ring. Glinstone Staves are required in Elden Ring to cast Sorceries, so if you want to use these Magic Spells then you will need to equip a Glintstone Staff. Staves don't come with any Skills, so you will simply use them to cast Sorceries, and rely on a secondary or tertiary weapon for these. Some Glintstone Staves can be infused with a single Ash of War, Spinning Weapon. The Carian royal sceptre also has a unique spinning weapon skill.

Generally speaking Lusat's Glintstone Staff outperforms all other single Attribute Staves when it comes to damage, but it comes at a substantial FP cost increase. It even outperforms each Staff that boosts a chosen school of magic when using that school's spells, except Staff of Loss if using Invisibility Sorceries. Prince of Death Staff, Gelmir Glintstone Staff and Albinauric Staff can reach higher Sorcery Scaling because you can invest into 2 Attributes to boost Sorcery Scaling, but you will only reach this with significantly more Attribute investment. Carian Regal Staff is the next best option to Lusat's Glintstone Staff if you want to conserve FP and are running an Intelligence focused Build, but if you aren't concerned about this then use Lusat's Glintstone Staff, unless you have a split Attribute spread Build that uses Faith or Arcane in addition to Intelligence.

The azur glintsone staff gives 40 virtual dexterity to casting speed and the radagon Icon gives 30 (70 dex gives you max casting speed). So with your build with 40 dex + radagon Icon you're actually wasting the azur staff

Omg I have like 200+ hours in the game and I never realized you can upgrade a staff. The first staff I found was the meteor staff and never found a staff with better scaling. I guess I know why now. Thanks 🙏

I absolutely love prince of death's staff. You might say that leveling both faith and int isn't that great but oh boy are you wrong. It hits hard with ancient death rancor and even Rykard's rancor, all the magma sorceries and you can combine it with golden order seal to get very good scaling on incantations + access to golden vow. Very versatile and underrated staff and build

The first thing I did when I started a new toon was ride to Caelid and get the meteorite staff. Yeah, you can't upgrade it, but like he says, it will carry you for a long time. Plus, when you get it a great spell for it is like 20 feet away underground. Great early game staff with little effort.

Heres some tips for ur build. Use Lusat staff. With 60 mind and 80 intelligent FP consumption is negligible against common enemies. Get rid of Scarseal, , Graven (optional), and Dragoncrest and instead use Godfrey Icon, Primal Glinstone (or keep Graven talisman), and Magic Scorpion Talismans, u will destroy everything. Get a dagger and add bloundhound step skill for keeping distance and quick get aways on foot.

The Carian goes really well with my beloved Moonveil katana. I'm not really a caster kinda guy, but I figure a good staff is like a sand wedge. You hope you never have to use it, but you'll probably need it at some point to finish your round.

House Marais mask is a good mage helmet piece i use it all the time the body isn't great i use the Sage body piece you find out of the Carian Manor near Loretta boss fight...Just run from grace point and farm the three sages just on the upper steps before you fight Loretta.

I wouldn’t touch Azurs staff. It’s 50% more FP for 15% faster cast speed. Lusats is a bit more viable if you use it as a boss nuking tool, but for general level clearing it’s too taxing on your resources. Leveling dex and using radagon icon trivialize it. Also, there is at least one spell in the game that does CONSIDERABLE more damage if cast left handed. Also, you can get the bonus from any staff by carrying it in your off hand.

Also I thought 2x same staffs increased damage more. Is that not the case? I like using night Comet, so use staff of loss x2. Perhaps I'll change to SoL and Lusat's. ALSO - carry the Sword of Milos or the Sacrificial Axe...that returns FP after killing a mob.

Lusat's staff is the most powerful in game but uses more mana up, why the Meteorite staff i use alot alongside Lusat's as it's good not using much mana up and good all round but boss fights use Lusat's staff you'll melt bosses.
Ignore the other staffs not worth upgrading imo...Carian Regal is better tho upgraded and becomes better than the Meteorite staff late on.

I use the Moonveil myself excellent weapon or use the Sword Of Night and Flame very OP weapon clearings groups of enemies.
