One time I found a misprinted backwards copy of “Diary of a wimpy kid: Wrecking Ball”, I was extremely happy and lucky to find that rare copy of the book. One day while reading it in 7th grade Science class, I got it taken up by my teacher and never got it back. He claimed that he gave it back to me but I know for sure he didn’t. That was the only book out of my entire collection of Wimpy Kid books that I lost and of course it was the only one I couldn’t replace…

It’s great to see Rowley is back to the stage, he’s been gone for like a long time. The Wimpy Kid lore is starting to be pieced back together, which of all is good. It would be a wish come true if Jeff Kinney brung back old characters, for example, Chirag. I hope all of them make a return soon enough. It’s great that Jeff Kinney has kept the series and lore going for the past 18 years. This is a good generation to live in. Anyways, book 18 looks epic

The FACT that they're FINALLY acknowledging that Greg's middle school SUCKS is a huge gamechanger for Wimpy Kid! This sounds like a plot that's used for adventure stories which doesn't usually happen in this book series, so seeing Greg trying to save his school after all the hell he's gone through over the past 16 years of going there is DEFINITELY worth a read!

I haven't really been reading DoaWK books because I thought they got less better like most things I know do. But now this video makes me look forward to the books and, honestly? I use to love these books series. But then it started getting stale at wrecking ball in my opinion. I do hope it ends up being good and not repetitive

Rowley hasn’t done a lot in the books since Wrecking Ball, where the idea of Greg moving was in the air, so this could be the breaking point for when he is officially written out of the series. It would be interesting if the new school would be located in Slacksville, a place set up in Big Shot (and they didn’t do a whole lot with it tbh), so it could set some even higher stakes. This book as some really good potential, and I am looking forward to reading it!
