First Car Boot Sale of 2025!!

The boot sales are BACK for 2025!!

In this week's episode Ed ventures to the local boot sale for the first booty of the season, in the hopes of finding retro games for collecting, modern games for CeX part-ex and anything that takes the eye!

With decent weather hitting just in time, the boot sale proves to be busier then anticipated and we manage to find some games for exchanging and a Mega Drive bath mat? Pick up's follow the hunt and all will be revealed!

Nice one mate. I got the bath mat a year or so back off ebay for £5 I think. My girlfriend didn't like it in the bathroom tho so it's in the game/room acting like a rug instead 😂😂 Great to see the booty's are back. Keep up the good hunt sir!

a taking point in the comments of your video if you dont mind (as uploaders we love some interaction!)

as you know my local has been back 2 weeks now.
last year was lovely
this year iv seen a lot of the same reseller faces about but an influx of newbies bargain hunting.
cant argue with that but among the newbies was a certain bad apple… i was front of the queue as i get out of bed in the morning lol
it opened up, bad apple proceeded to barge people out of the way and literally run around the sale steaming from stall to stall looking for gaming stuff, i know because he went to barge me out of the way to see a couple of stacks i set upon and i stood my ground because im no mug lol
anyhoo, i digress…

my talking point is this, do you think that with the rise in popularity of both retro gaming and people youtube’ing the car boot/CeX/ebay process (me, you, us all) that we will encounter more and more of these bad apples?

it has always felt truly british with manners and politeness and waiting for people to finish looking or passing piles to the next person etc
it would be a shame to see the local car boots descend into ‘walmart pokemon chaos’ kind of scenes but tbh i feel like it’s Thanos inevitable at this point
what do you think?
and anyone else care to chip in an opinion?
with the rise of yourself, jammy dodger, retro rummage, dan, etc is it only a matter of time before everyone at the boot sale is a nobhead? 😂

Yes lovely my car was in Liverpool is all around. I only get the time when I have a day off but I went got a few bits. A steamer for £3 can never find games at mine because I don’t go every week. Maybe that’s why. 🎮🎮🎮
