Using 3 or 4 balls of aluminum foil as mounts, level the board on a baking pan, components (or most components) side up. Pop it into the oven and then bake it at 385degF. It took about 6 minutes to preheat, and I left it in for an additional 6 minutes once it reached 385. That may cure the Nintendo game.

When the screen on game boy comes up like that, take the game out turn it off and blow in the game slot hard a couple of times .Might be a bit clearer after first blowing, but keep repeating the blowing until it works.Test to see if it works with out game first .If the game boy works and its the game do the blowing in the game itself in the slot . Just watched again its the game boy itself that wants the blowing .

Gameboys come up with that screen when no game inserted. If the game you got with it is faulty then maybe worth buying a cheapo game for testing :)

Game could be faulty as screen is coming on without the game inside, it usually does the black bar across the screen and hides the game boy logo on the screen when the game isn’t inserted, might be worth pinging another game in if you’ve got one and trying it. If not I’ll buy it 👀 like messing around with faulty electronics! 😁
