I was absolutely speechless when I found White-Box-Cartoonization AI. Both in agony and joy.
So here I am making another video on roughly the same concept, but at the end, I think it is definitely worth it as this AI is so much better and deserves a video of its own.

Just lower the frame rate, and you'll get a decent looking "rotoscope" animation

It misses the artistic sense and the atmospheric light that a lot of backgrounds have, in reality anime backgrounds aren't oversimplified, but the lights and reflection they have in it is not something that you can really have in real life

honestly, if an AI can handle the backgrounds reliably, that would be such a huge help for artists who just like drawing characters and hate dealing with backgrounds like myself.
