If a month ago you had asked me who my ideal VP pick were, I never would have said, "A guy from Nebraska who was a high school defensive line coach in Minnesota." As politics has grown more performative and divisive, Tim Walz has proven to be the injection of authenticity and decency that we need in this country. I am grateful for teachers, leaders and mentors like Tim and Gwen Walz. Tim Walz is the epitome of what Americans can become when genuinely supported.
I pray and hope for the peace and leadership that VP Harris and Tim Walz can bring to Americans. That alone is what we need as a country and individuals. We no longer need to talk about the opposing candidates. Just the peace of having the Harris/Walz ticket as Hope is calming and invigorating. Morality is back.
