I do see some of you saying it doesn’t work. Just as a troubleshoot, I would go higher up in the air and light up as many caves beneath the farm as you can. Also turn your render distance down it you can so the mobs only can spawn where the farm is. It’s a lot more effort but it does greatly improve rates

The creepers dont die from the fall if you turn off the blender.

The farm does work. It does spawn only creepers. Its not fast. But as an AFK it does work. Best thing to do is afk with the machine off and let them build up in the chamber before turning on.

The slab "preventing them from exploding" as a matter of fact does not. If they look at you theyre gunna blow. I encased the chamber platform and now stand back just far enough to where they dont try to blow up, but i can still flip the lever.

Looting 3 is a must if you actually want decent progress.

I used this farm and I hate to use 3 layers. Make sure not to put any trapdoors on the platforms (only put trapdoors in the holes) over time u start to really accumulate A LOT of gunpowder. In a day I got around 10 stacks+

When I'm building, creepers spawn.
But when I finished it, it didn't work🥲

Bro, I was wondering why no creepers were spawning, I dug down to see if there was any caves, THERE IS A ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE ONE RIGHT UNDER, it had 3 mineshafts and 2 spawners 😭

Due to spawning mechanics changing, mobs now spawn in the center of blocks in 1.21+ and will not fall off the edge of the block nearly as often if they do, rendering this farm ineffective.

A creeper blew up right as it hit the ground, I had no time at all to react, and it destroyed the bottom of the farm. Idk what this guy was talking about when he said the creepers can't explode

The problem that I'm having is the creepers have no reason to move, they're spawning but they're not moving to drop down. So it's basically just on chance of them moving

Built it over a ocean and made sure all caves under neath are lit up with torches not getting any spawns on hard

I don't think it works for me. I double checked all trap doors, stood afk for long enough and yet i don't have a single gunpowder or creeper spawning for that matter. Rip my time

No mobs are spawning in mine. I made it above water, lit up the surrounding area, went underwater to light up any caves, and nothing

I spent 15 minutes afk and didnt get a single creeper in the kill chamber, i wasted all my time for nothing

If your having trouble with the amount of creepers spawning then try building out 11 blocks to the right or left and afk there it worked for me the only downside though is that you don't get the levels.
