Two Amtrak Michigan Wolverines Scream through Dowagiac Michigan at the Amtrak Station in the downtown area as they are going at or near the 110 mph track speed limit on this stretch of the Michigan corridor. July 6, 2013.

The Pontiac turn around requires Amtrak to have two units on each end to accommodate the turnaround without actually turning the train. Thus the two units.

Thanks for posting this vid. Very nice work. Having ridden this route for a number of years, I have to say that the high speed sections are smoother than they've been previously. It is superbly comfortable; you only know you're going that fast if you try to look out at something close by outside. Or try to spell Dowagiac from the sign.

That's interesting... I've never seen an Amtrak with a trailing unit! I didn't know thy did that with Amtrak except for Acela
