MacBook Pro 13' (Late 2013) - Overview

When the craving for a Mac gets out of hand, I buy expensive stuff. This is the latest victim, featuring a replaced display and a near perfect battery for less than 600 euros.

I got a mid 2014 one, which is really similar to this, when they were new. Maybe the last reasonably priced Apple computer? It was £999 in the UK with an i5. 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD.

Thought about getting this one instead of my Mid 2013 macbook air back then, feels like I missed out :(

Is dit aan te raden? Twijfel tussen 2017 versie en deze aangezien deze betere reviews heeft dan de 2017 i.v.m de toetsenbord

I bought a Late 2013 13" MBP when they were still current in January 2014, was the next model up from base with 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Very reliable little laptop with a stunning Retina display (higher pixel density than the 15" Retina had), and the PCIe SSD blew away most of the competition with read/write speeds almost twice what you'd get from SATA. Ran the Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra betas on it (in summer 2014, 2015, and 2016 respectively) without issue.

2013 is about as old as I'd be willing to go when it comes to a daily use Mac (though it would suck going back to the old trackpad). Now if I said that in the Low End Mac Facebook group, I'd probably catch a lot of flak.
