When you are comparing python vs nodejs don't compare python with java / c++. 2. in node js we can also use typescript. 3. If a person already has frontend knowledge with js and currently don't want to learn new language they can go with Node js . Python is good for data science, data analysis, machine learning, ai and good framework like django, flask, fast api . Node js community is also very large it has many node module which can reduce the task. If you want to learn data structure python is better than js. Js is a single threaded application. As for job market javascript is in more demand but the pay is better in python, this may vary region to region. Both are good languages start from the core then do the advance after that learn a framework depending on which language you choose and don't forgot the DSA.
