Of course the Tarnished are not tall enough to become Elden Lord usually, that's why becoming one in the regular endings makes them grow big enough to sit on the Elden Throne. ; )

NOT a spoiler, I a theory. I have thought for a while Marika has a twin somewhere. Maybe I am wrong, but it would not surprise me to see one in the DLC. I mean there's so much "duality" and so many twins it only makes sense. Just a hunch....you heard it here first.
