What was your favorite Robert Redford film?

I still feel the underrated movie, "The Candidate", was one of his best. Also, "Barefoot in the Park" was one of the funniest movies and quite classy.

Gosh, so many. Redford has such a gentle presence on screen. Very handsome. He makes his roles so real. I like his earlier moves because he was new and dynamic and one didn't know how big he would become. Movies such as The Chase, Downhill Racer, Little Fauss and Big Halsy.

Later ones, The Way We Were. The Horse Whisperer.

My mother went to Van Nuys High with both Robert Redford and Natalie Wood. She was friendly with Natalie and knew about her family. All she knew about Robert Redford was that he played baseball.

Love love love all his movies and him!!! He's an environmentalist, has given us many years of great movies, Sundance and on it goes. The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are golden. One of the most talent actors ever to be born.

What I admired about Robert Redford was his seeming unwillingness to seek out the press, the tabloids and fame in general.
Most celebrities scream about any donation (pledges too, bc those are the same ) they've made, trouble they've gotten into, rehab stints accomplished and in search of MORE FAME. This screams 'over compensation, and says a lot for the type of person they are.
