This movie is disturbingly addictive to the point I keep rewatching the trailer even though I've seen the actual film 2 times

Steve Buscemi was incredible in this movie. He nailed the role Khrushchyov.

Saw it twice and I want to see it again. Buscemi and Isaacs are my favorites. My only complaints are that Palin didn't get more jokes and the cars were mostly Cadillacs when the Soviets famously preferred Packards to the point that they continually copied them, although that's nit-picking on my part. Great movie.

Well, having seen it, I loved it. The witty dialogue between the characters is just great. Warning though - the trailers make this movie to be an out and out comedy. It's not. It's very black. People get killled, Beria does his rape thing (thankfully implied off-screen) etc.

I loved the Marshal. "Fucker thinks he can take on the Red Army? I fucked Germany, I think i can take a flesh lump in a waistcoat."
That line freaking had me laughing my ass off xD

The most historically inaccurate part about this movie was Svetlana (Stalin's daughter) knowing that her mother killed herself. Svetlana believed that her mother died from medical complications until the 1970s. But besides that, the movie is shockingly accurate.

It's absolutely bloody wonderful. Never seen anything quite so blackly funny.

I think this is destined to become a cult classic. Yes, it's that good. But It's also really dark and some parts are disturbing.

This movie should have been shown all over the world right after his funeral in 1953

Looks like it's in the vein of Catch-22 and Dr. Strangelove. I hope.

Is there a trailer that touts Armando as the creator of Veep? I thought that would beat out In the Loop as the most saleable thing on his admittedly fucking brilliant CV.
