A seasonal apple pudding made using American grown rice makes for a stomach warming fall meal. Did you know that rice used to be one of the top crops of the American South? This rice was usually called Carolina Rice. Still to this day there are over 5,000 rice farms in the U.S. producing over 20 billion pounds of rice annually!
