Can't wait for the 4k review. The AW32 looks sweet!

You're solid dude. Subbed. Also, I always thought that channels like Linus are paid to say great things, I never realized that the company might send them specially tuned unit. Its kinda crazy actually but makes perfect sense.

Great review but...

... I have owned the AW2725DF since last week here in the UK and love everything about it except the VRR flickering with G-SYNC enabled which isn't just limited to dark grey loading screens but is noticeable on bright desktop wallpaper and in some games too. In games, it is mostly subtle but I saw it straight away in the recently released Tomb Raider I-III Remastered as the game has no graphics options so defaults to the desktop settings so it was running at 1440p and 360 fps. The higher and more variable the framerate then the more likely it is that you will see flickering.

It's not a deal-breaker but it is disappointing to see in a 3rd generation OLED panel and especially after gaming on a 165 Hz 1440p ASUS PG279Q G-SYNC monitor for the last 7 years that did not have this issue at all. It is the only real weakness of this display in my opinion - the purple tinge to the screen during daylight I can live with since I don't notice it while gaming anyway - and it seems like very few reviewers are even mentioning this. VRR flicker it seems is a real problem with OLED displays in general and I admit I have even seen it with my PS5 while playing games at 120 Hz on my 2019 LG B9 OLED TV.

I've watched like 6 reviews of this now and this is by far the best review. Most realistic and useful information. Well done and thank you.

Hey so when I checked the Amazon description for this monitor and you said it was glossy but in the description it says matte so I’m just confused

did you get any eye strain from this monitor? another reviewer said it caused significant eyestrain

The precalibrated mode is the srgb mode, did you measure the srgb mode ?

I'm coming from a 27" 4k 160hz IPS panel and just got my AW this week, I must say overall quite happy but due to the fringing with OLED pixel layout text looks very bad and it gives me eye strain to work on over longer periods. I'm considering returning it and swapping for the 32" 4k model. The 360hz vs 240hz isn't such a significant upgrade to compromise on sharpness, at least in my use case. I was expecting the text clarity to be higher, HOWEVER watching videos looks nearly as sharp as 4k, it's incredible hard to tell a difference to be honest, but text is a complete different story

Which mode did you use to test the color accuracy?

Also: I JUST spoke with DELL regarding the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3225QF

I asked them about the packaging & the firmware updates!

Here is the quote:

"Both of your questions have been addressed by Dell. The packaging has been adjusted to reduce the chances of micro scratches, and newly shipped units come with the updated firmware"

Hi, for CS 2 player- HDR on or off? FPS preset mode is set already. Also, for esport game with expectation of the lowest input lag - freesync enable or disable?

There's no "pre-calibration."
Guy probably didn't even set it to the sRGB mode.

PLS STOP using games that are not reaching 360fps to review a 360hz Monitor, everyone who buys it wants to play competitive shooter like valorant/cs2/r6/overwatch

Do you have exact setting and icc profile?

Harn and objective review without being paid, I love it!! I just reserved this monitor a few days ago to play and use my PC normally with a browser, etc. Apart from the issue of flickering with gsync (it seems it doesn't have it from what you mentioned), I have doubts about the fan cooling of this one versus the graphene one of the msi that would be my only other option, what do you think about that?
