I learned from a family photographer to come up with funny words and phrases to get your kids to give genuine smiles in photos. “Stinky monkey” is my kids’ fave. Or we just say something that ends in an “ee” sound that corresponds with the photo. “Blue Creek” for a local walking trail, “Mickey” at Disney, “Daddy” on Father’s Day, “Bunny” on Easter, etc.
