I got chills when I saw this when it came out. Perfect call back to the SW space crawls of the films. Red writing and not at an angle, it’s just perfect. Well Done Dave Filoni, Kiner has the music to perfection too.

The red lettering, the dark music really set the tone for this show. I’m glad they’re doing more adult/serious themed Star Wars cinema.

Can't have Star Wars without the opening crawl its inconceivable

I really enjoy how this crawl sets it apart from the Mandalorian. Mando at the start was a small scale story and even by season 3 the scope was limited to the Mandalorians. This sets the stage and stakes, Thrawn’s return will give the divided Imperials a warlord they can rally behind and begin a new war the New Republic have naively believed they won completely and are now unprepared for.
