I bought this tool about 6 months ago and finally I'm getting around to using it. This video helped out a lot. TY.

That's a good review, Jon! And your demo of the jig was easy to understand. Now I am going to take my Armor jig into the shop and try it on some plywood. (Scrap pieces until I get the hang of it.) Peace and God bless you, Jon!

Seems like a good system. I will be getting a Castle system when I can because of the shallower screw angle

It's always good to know about the other options available and you always explain clearly.

Just had time to play with the jig. Easy to set up and I like the auto adjustment. I tried using the dust collector with 1 1/4 “ hose. Couldn’t get it started but had a piece of 1 1/4” clear tubing. It fit the inside dimension well. It was 1.209” or so.

Thanks Jon! I just bought one of these myself and love it. I returned a Massca and a Kreg. Best feature is the self adjusting lever.

Nice demo. What blows my mind is how many people are so opposed to working with pocket holes at all. One guy on a channel recently he said he is not even willing to try pocket holes because he just doesn't like the idea of using them. That to me is just ridiculous. Pocket holes are not to be used in every instance, but when they are applicable, they provide an incredibly strong joint. I love my Kreg K4, my Massca and my Armor. I guess I am kind of a tool nut.

Nice! Setting the stop on the drill bit looked to be easy-peasy. Good looking jig.

Hi Jon, I just received my new Armor auto jig. Thank you for your video. Now I can attach dust collection to my toe screws connections. As an aside, the dust collection, pressure Handel and drill guides are all on the same side. So the worker can work on large panels without having to reach around the workpiece. Good advise! Thanks!

Thanks for the tutorial, Jon. I got an Armor Tool version a couple of years ago. Works for me!

I must say that the Armor brand does have some perks. Main one to me is the guide stop for the thickness of the material, that is a quicker set up than Kreg's. But Kreg does make a decent set up also. It all depends on the users needs, more than being fancy.
Thank you Mr. Jon
Take care

I was lucky enough to grab a Porter Cable Quick Jig before they became hard to get. I got it for $120 at Menards. Awesome jig and I have to say better than this model same exact concept.

Very nice jig! I don't use pocket holes often but have a Kreg jig I got many years ago that I really enjoy. I'm not sure if this one was available then but if so I wasn't aware of it or would have got it. Thanks for the review!

I just picked one of these up at Menards for $40. Seems like a good jig for the $.

Jon - Great work. Thumbs Up. For us color blind people, if you can send any feedback to the Armor people about the screw length guide, that would help. The color guide is of little help for us. Perhaps there's a way they could update it.

I need to get the Armor tool clamp to put on my second "Blue jig" Funny how they not only make their own but make a better upgrade for the competitors jig!
