"We Close Our Eyes" showcases Danny's amazing range. No one ever mentions him when they're talking about great rock singers, but I think he had one of the best voices out there. And such talent! Losing his contributions to the music world still hurts.

Danny Elfman is one of the most expressive, dynamic singers of his generation. He is compelling and playful, fully engaged and committed. He is so charismatic, (sigh)

The most unique and intricate band of all time. We will never hear another band that sounds like Oingo Boingo

Sad for today’s generation, missing out on music like this

Not my slave has to be one of the healthiest love songs ever written. Honoring the independence of the other person. "Don't want you in a cage. I only want your heart to find that special place.:

It's 2024 and here I am leaving this insane world if for only 8 minutes. Thank you Danny and Oingo Boingo.

His voice is controlled velvet, and he has the sexiest teeth and neck. Wow!

I love Steve spreading his feet and bending his neck so that he can get to the mic. Apparently, the stage team didn't know what they were dealing with.

“Good morning, this is Kevin, and Bean. You’re listening to the world famous KROQ F.M. Let’s start off a good day with one of our favorite songs. OIngo Boing, We Close Our Eyes”. How I miss those days!

I was so fortunate to see them in concert 4 times. I love them now and forever. I wish they were still together. At least he’s still writing music for movies.

My life was totally F--ked growing up, but bands like (Especially) Oingo Boingo kept me going. Alot of songs inspired me to put up with the bullshit I was dealt. I wonder if some bands realize the affect they have on people? I say them in Irvine (On Thursday) at their last shows. It was beyond words.

As much as I love Danny Eflman, I just can't stop watching Johnny Avila. He's so happy and adorable.

A genius, Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo were so underrated.
They were way ahead of their dimension. He sang using his voice like any virtuoso used their instrument and took his voice where all the rest couldn’t.

That menacing side-eye.... such a pretty smile... damn. Bet that’s what Bridget sees when she closes her eyes.❤️

I'm transported back to my teenage years getting smashed on the front row of a boingo concert and mosh pitting and diving and crowd surfing with the crew. Those were great days that will live forever in my memories. Boingo is without a doubt one of the best live bands, and Danny Elfman is the model of an accomplished, talented musician. That bassline is killer in Not my slave.

I still have their original album, I noticed some kinda talent going on, so much I thought they had to be British! Then I found out American, but he got his start in Europe, his story is amazing how he just fell into music and oh by the way could really sing!
