The main reason why so many Brazilians like the band is because Stay is a compilation album by the group, released in 1990. This album was only released in Brazil. The choice of the title Stay was due to the great success that this song achieved when it was included in the soundtrack of the soap opera Top Model. In addition to "Stay", the song "Not My Slave", which despite not being part of the official Beverly Hills soundtrack, (or Barrados No Baile, as it is called in Brazil), the introduction of this song was part of the calls on the Brazilian TV station Rede Globo between 1992 and 1998.

RIP Michael Bacich, he was the keyboardist of Oingo Boingo from 1985-87 and is in this video as the pianist. He and his talent will be remembered forever and missed dearly

Many don’t know but Danny Elfamn’s secret weapon is the keyboardist for Oingo Boingo. He is a classicly trained musician with a degree in music and essentially arranges all the scores for any film Danny Elfman has scored. He is multitalented.

I was in line for the 10th anniversary showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show when a guy in a dinosaur costume came up to me and handed me flyer for some crazy band thing called The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo. Damn I wish I had not tossed it. Ended up following Boingo later on, saw one of their last shows in Santa Barbara, CA.

56 years old. Saw Mystic Knights as a young teen in SoCal. Saw Oingo Boingo in Phoenix in the 80's... saw Danny and the orchestra with music in a darkened theater in Washington DC. And that was many years ago. Look for his mom's books. Her name is"Blossom" love you Danny and Richard!
