Are you wondering if the hype around Azure standard is real? Is it truly worth it to buy in bulk or go through the "hassle" of online grocery shopping when you can just drive to the store? In this video, I share my first experience online grocery shopping (ever) with Azure standard. I'll share my impressions navigating the website, determining how to put together a low cost budget, and not only show you how my products arrive, but then how I went on to use them! Let this be your guide to determining if online shopping from Azure is worth the cost savings, selection and convenience for you!

Girl, I am not trying to go broke at Azure either 😂 I spend an average of $100 when I order and I try to only order every few months. I like to get the things I can't get at the stores and/or are a better price. Organic sugar, raisins, dried mango and apricots, butter, shortening, flour are a few of my staples. Be careful of their produce, it's a 50/50 chance that it's good quality but they are fantastic about refunds. They won't refund your card but issue a credit. I am thankful for the things I can get there. It's nice to have an arsenal of stores. Nothing beats my Sharp Shopper though! 😊 Have a great week!

I live 3ish hours south of the warehouse. I drive through Moro all the time to go to Washington. Had NO idea it was even there. It sits on a hill next to a wheat field. Turns out Mike, our truck driver, is also kinda my neighbor. Hooked on Azure.

While I'm sure this is a good starter, I don't get why people insist on making traditional sourdough so difficult. I've been using a traditional sourdough starter I made myself, off and on for over thirty years now. I keep my sourdough in the fridge if I'm not using it daily, never using the discard method. I just bring out my sourdough starter out of the fridge and feed it for what I need and back in the fridge it goes. People have been using this method for hundreds of years. Fancy chefs have made sourdough way too complicated when the old ways work well without getting complicated.

A video on actually seeing how Azure pick up works etc. would be awesome. I hear a lot about it, but never see the actual process.

It’s good to see a smaller haul, the huge bulk orders I see are very intimidating with our budget! But I’d still love to try it. Sometime. I don’t think I’m ready to pull the trigger on that yet, since the whole pickup situation is also a hangup for me. Also, I can’t believe I missed that you had a new video up for this long! I blame back to school week.

Cassandra, I cannot tell you how delighted I was when I saw you had a new video! Thank you for showing your Azure haul and how you managed it because sometimes buying in bulk can be overwhelming to many of us. It is important to have a gameplan for how you'll manage bulk items when they arrive and not put it off until another day of the week, because schedules get busy and they always seem to change just when you were counting on them to stay on track. Hugs from (northwest) Georgia!

We have had a great experience with Azure! We are so blessed that our closest drop off is 1/4 mile away. One time I had an item arrive damaged and they quickly put a credit to my account so I could re-order the next time and they also gave me a bonus to my Azure cash for the trouble. Great customer service and so far every product has been great. We get so many things but love to get our wheat berries to grind our own flour and their prices for organic can't be beat! So glad you gave them a try. Next month I'm going to try the bread starter.

Thank you for reviewing Azure! I have been thinking about it for a long time. And I appreciate you showing us how you used everything so we could really see the quality and characteristics. Just FYI, I often make kombucha with decaf green tea and it's just as fizzy and delish as usual. Thanks again!

I'm so happy to see this starter, I've been confused about all the sourdough starter procedures online. We never used a discard method. We just fed the starter in the fridge from time to time if we hadn't been using it.

A lot of people aren't aware that they also offer an option for the items to be shipped directly to your house. Although it's an additional cost, I prefer to do that when I order. I buy their seasonings in bulk and store them in big mason jars.

I was using Azure, but... all I really wanted was all purpose flour, but checking out doesn't secure your purchase. You, thankfully, don't get charged until your items are loaded on the truck, but anyone can come along and buy out the product while you wait until your items ship. I gave up after my cut off and delivery were pushed back by a week mere hours before it was supposed to cut off, until then it looked like I would finally get my AP flour, but nope, less than 12 hours after my cut off was pushed back all but 3 jams that I was trying to buy were sold out. I understand not reserving perishable items for the first person to check out with it in their cart, but done wasting my time hoping and praying that someone won't come along and take an item I desperately need when I can just go somewhere else where they take my money right away and make sure that I actually get the product since I asked for it first. Great products, but not worth the constant uncertainty. Don't get me started on erratic delivery and constant time changes with zero flexibility there.

Azure Standard has THE BEST ethics. They're honest, they're open, they say 'we didnt have a great crop this year, so we weren't able to discount like we did last year' in their sales flyer they give you. The transparency is unbeatable. I order every 2-3 months; absolutely great selection and bulk prices.
Oh, and their sales flyer has helped me find new products I normally would have missed on their site!!

I like that when you make your meals or recipes you show that you spill things on the counter, and it is not the perfect no muss highly edited video. You are like my friend showing me how to make something. I appreciate your attention to detail. Thank you.

Thanks for this information. The reason I have not set-up an azure account is because I could not pickup during the morning. However, having the home pick option means I might be able to order from them now. Thanks a million for this information

Hi, love your channel! Did you know that you can put your sourdough starter in the fridge? I put mine in the fridge leaving as little as 1/2c and if not using it I take it out and feed it once per week with 1/3c equal flour and warm water ratio. Then I put it right back in the fridge.
