Unfortunate too, I love the way chroma looks and like the concept of him breathing elemental fire, ice, lightning, etc. I hope they give him a nice rework.

I feel like Chroma could've been what Lavos had with elemental manipulation, but ended up being a prototype for the idea.

God I love how chroma prime looks, like a literal knight demigod of elements.

I would like to see a total overhaul of Chroma's kit.
Chroma is meant to be a dragon. At the moment he does not feel like a dragon, he feels like a mash-up of random ideas that have next to no synergy or purpose.
Just make Effigy a transformation like Sevagoths Shadow, let Chroma become a necramech sized dragon or some shit, idk.

Still playing him, and I plan on it forever. He was the first frame that caught my eye, and I regret nothing.

I feel like Chroma is such a great example of how the original design philosophy of earlier frames just didn't hold up. All of his abilities are more based on "yeah a dragon should do this" rather than "this would be good for his kit." Like his passive, for example, which does literally nothing for him beyond "He has wings so he should have an extra double jump!"

Chroma walked so Lavos could fly, but unfortunately DE had other plans and took the crowbar to chroma's kneecaps until he could barely crawl. Thank god Chroma is balanced for <level 200 just like inaros

Another issue for Chroma in team play is when others give him mesmer skin or overguard, making it even harder to set up Vex Armor

Chroma should get a rework where his 4th turns him into a melee dragon like sevagoth. His first should be reworked to where fire(shoots fire and lava, leaving puddles that do damage over time) toxic( shoot sludge, that does acidic damage- poison and corrosive) ice ( literally freezing everyone in place, opening for finishers or crowd control), electric(stunning enemies for a couple seconds like volts first ability)

Damn good proper beakdown with all the history (which most modern players dont even know how Chroma was 'unintentionally' good because his buffs used to be multiplicative). He needs a rework/update more than Inaros.

I'm gonna be honest, I just press 2 and 3 and go to town. Never had many problems but never gave many thoughts to chroma's kit as a concept either. Very cool video pointing stuff I never gave too much of a thought.

I'll never forget how excited i was when i first played Chroma and realised he has TWO BULLET JUMPS !!!
For that alone i love him lol.

he's my number 1 on my list of reworks i want i honestly hope he gets all new ability's more dragon themed like overguard like dragon skin. and for his 4 maybe a cast that changes depending on your element.
