Bruce Lamb, PhD is an internationally recognized expert who focuses on the genetic drivers of Alzheimer’s disease. His work in developing mouse models that can mimic late-onset Alzheimer’s in humans has been crucial to researchers who are exploring potential therapies for the disease.

Last year, Dr. Lamb was appointed to co-lead an IU School of Medicine effort that is investigating potential Alzheimer’s drugs that have been identified by pharmaceutical companies, academic centers and non-profit groups but that will need significant help from academia to become reality.

Dr. Lamb has received numerous awards for his work. He is the Roberts Family Chair in Alzheimer’s Disease Research and executive director of the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute.

On October 7, 2020, Dr. Lamb presented on Finding Solutions for Alzheimer's Disease Through Translational Research at IU School of Medicine. The webinar was hosted by Mark Notestine, PhD.
