Like, 160 out of the 176 episodes of TNG. Usually it was not life or death for the crew of the enterprise. It was interpersonal drama, intrigue, diplomacy, defusing a tense situation on a planet at the edge of the federation. The episodes where the whole federation was under threat and some big bad was threatening to blow up the enterprise were like... one a season.

The writers of Picard have written from the first season like Patrick Stewart was an action star and TNG was the A Team. Picard and Riker bored because stuff's not crashing and blowing up? What's wrong with these people?

No more time travel or alternate realities. This is what the fans really want. Picard the old crew, adventure bad ass starships, gun fights, space fights, nostalgia. Seasons 1 and 2 weren't the best, but this looks like it could be good. Fingers crossed, I love TNG.
