One Piece about to become the best new gen anime

Dude, a remake of Baretai, Luffy vs Lucci, Water Seven, Enies Lobby, Marineford, and so many arcs being remade is making me nostalgic and hopeful of an newish era of One Piece.

Imagine these new generation of kids getting into One Piece and becoming the Sawyer, the Brago, The Tekking of the new Remake era of One Piece. That’s also something to consider

Cover stories being involved as a mini arc would be nice. Looking forward to this remake! It looks so clean bro, and seeing Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji using Haki early on will be an amazing experience. Haki in general could be cool. The amount of details seem awesome and satisfying

Being a One Piece fan continues to pay so much dividends dawg cuz all the people working on the series pour soooo much love and care 😭

Honestly seeing them refer to props and draw frames while looking at the manga pages made me even more excited. I love how detailed all the concept art is. I love that in the character sheets, you can tell that Zoro and Sanji have different builds and body types. And while they should maybe saturate everything a little more, I love the marker look. It looks just like the color spreads. I hope they keep it. But the production team is crazy! The _Attack on Titan_ director, the director of _Jujutsu Kaisen_ as your assistant director, the action animators for the remake worked on _Boruto_ and _My Hero Academia, _ the writer of _Ranking of Kings, _ and the _Attak on Titan, Spy x Family_ and _First Slam Dunk_ character designers! What‽ The board member of WIT in the video said he first heard about the project 4-5 years ago so it seems like they started working on this around the same time as season 1 of the live-action One Piece.

I love that they really seem to be sticking to manga fidelity. But I also hope that they play when it comes to stuff set up early on but we now know 1000 chapters later. For instance, in Buggy’s fight with Shanks during the Orange Town flashback, we know the pirate who broke it up was Rayleigh. So show us young Rayleigh from the Oden flashback. Don’t just make it the random pirate that Oda had to retcon into Rayleigh. Show other of the Roger pirates like Scopper, whom we meet in the Oden flashback. But maybe not Crocus or Oden. At Reverse Mountain, show us Yorkie, not the captain who would have to be retconned into Yorkie. Show us a character from the back that could be Brook. The Supernovas weren’t planned so maybe foreshadow them a bit with reports and new stories about other rookies tearing up other seas. Do what the Live Action did with those Foxy and Cavendish posters. And I hope they capture those moments in the early manga that when a character genuinely smiles, they shine in the panel.

It’s official, my third rewatch of One Piece is gonna be WIT’s version cause good lord this already looks like it will be PEAK.

Also while we got no information on the voice cast for the remake, while the main cast is going to be new, I feel there’s a chance some of the voice actors for the other characters like Doflammingo, Akainu will have the old voice actors from Toei come to do the roles.

I felt the same excitement Brago. Being an old head this is so amazing. I can finally get friends to watch the One Piece anime. Even after the live action a lot of people I recommend it to loved it, but they couldn’t get into the anime. I think this will change that. Everyone should get to experience One Piece.

They showed Crocus island inside Laboon, so we at least getting Whiskey Peak/Little Garden or even Drum Island in first season
