Hey guys! I've read most of your comments! This video was long time ago and I was still learning! Font's are now a lot shorter and more visible to the eye. I'm also more mindful of my grammar/spelling mistakes! I'm learning more as time goes please be patient with me! :)

I'm glad my most recent Budgie had lived around 14 - 15 years, I loved listening to him sing through the day and watching him puff up like a ball of cotton.

Cool video. Budgies are very sweet and friendly birds.
For example: When i was a young teen, we had a budgie who was best buddies with our dorky cavies and with our pair of cockatiels. He shared his herbs, salad and even his beloved millet with the other animals. And he loved it to have "jam sessions" with the male cockatiel, like play the drums or sing together. ^_^

He was even so fond of mom and me, that we could go together with him to the near stores to buy fresh veggies. He was wasn't afraid of all the traffic noises at all and just sit on the shoulder and sing a song or sit in the hood and take a nap. He was the most unique budgie i have ever met.

My Budgie is turning *15* tomorrow!! I'm so excited. I've had him ever since I was eight and I love him so much. He's still pretty healthy and strong too.

One of my past budgies was very lucky if the blood one is true.

While playing with some of my dad's empty beer cans he pulled one over at the wrong angle and got his head partly caught in the opening, taking a chunk of his scalp off. One very quick trip to the vet later we came home with one very lucky budgie and some ointment. He went on to make a full recovery.

I love this video! The quality and the fact that budgies grind their beaks when they're happy😀

I had a budgie that lived for 15 human years. He was lovely, friendly and swore like an irish man in a drunken brawl lol. Miss that bird, hes burried in a thermos flask in my garden with a toy, millet and shrouded with a piece of red velvet. OTT I know but I loved him so much. People have similar burials so why not loved pets?

I don't know if its true about their lifetime (15 years), but mine lived 10.
Great companions for cheering you up. They need lots of attention and care but they are very affective and friendly if you know how to take care of them.

Very informative video, even if I knew 80% of them. I like your parrots, hope they are ok :D

compared to basically any other parrot species budgies actually have a pretty short life span, and yes if well taken care of can live well past the 8 year range, but still can be considered short none the less.

I love my " keet son " Chipper and he loves for me to rub his back he also plays peek a boo as he knows what time I feed and change his paper.they are so rewarding to have p!us Chipper loves to eat when I do.for those other people whom have bought a keet and couldn't take care of it wasn't ready for the responsibility of owning a lovable pet they are like having children .I've got Chipper a year and I worry about him as if I've had him all my life.hes just now learning to do step up and although he won't stay on my finger long but he'll do step up and I tell him he's a good boy.im contemplating about getting Chipper a companion ( a boy) so he won't be lonely when I'm out I'm still thinking about it though but Chipper brings me joy everyday of my life.thank you for your video and your bird Aqua is beautiful they all are and even though they're the same species they have different personalities just like people

with fact #3, it's amazing how they don't instantly explode seeing as how rowdy and unhinged they can be
mine messes up his leg at least 3 times a year because he did something stupid and in panic claws to the closest thing available :')

we have shit tons of ringneck parakeets in the wild here in the Netherlands, i hear them in the trees every morning and my 2 budgies yell back at them, appearantly they came from germany and belgium and moved upward as winters became milder.

netherlands has wide variety of birds, i've seen quite some,
we have big old herons herons and swans everywhere (who'd a thunk in a country made from water)
out in the country got our little falcons, and a huge list of small birds.
but it's still weird to see such an exotic bird fly around in the wild, it wasn't like that 20 years ago lol

when i play guitar my budgies start looking down at me with their heads diagonally, almost like they're like little doggos and it cracks me up everytime they eyeball me like that, also the way their face looks when they're doing pruning the heavily padded zones, those temporary sideburns, does it to me everytime, there's a couple of those cases in this video too :')

When I was a kid, we had a beautiful blue budgie, my mother had him totally tamed, he would come in and out of his cage whenever he wanted, he would go back in to eat or drink, (sometimes he would pick off your dinner plate, )or at about ten at night, which he knew was bedtime, he would often land on my head ( I never checked the time, ) and most of the time he crapped on me . He lived to be 13 or almost 14, I still miss Charlie
