Endless Highways Lyrics Music Video

Endless Highways is an epic tale of love and life. It’s a song about how people are willing to sacrifice everything for love. We can imagine a young man in a small boat navigating through stormy seas to reach his beloved on the other side. Risking his own life to get to her. Dark forces will always threaten us throughout our lives, but there is always hope as long as we keep moving forward. Whether it’s on the endless highway or across the vast open sea. That is the message of Henning Andersen’s song.

The artist about the lyrics:
I find the most challenging part of songwriting to be creating lyrics that support and enhance the feeling of the song. Once in a while, I feel like I've managed to combine lyrics and music in a way that really hits hard. In my opinion, I achieved that with *Kentucky*, and I'm happy with how the lyrics, melody, and production come together on *Endless Highways*. We've made a "lyrics music video" for *Endless Highways*, and I hope people will use it to let me know whether they agree or not. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

About the musicians:
There are so many talented people playing on this track. First and foremost, Marius Hagen not only co-produced the song with me but also played that beautiful bassline. Marius Lien spices things up with his guitar genius throughout the entire track. Magnus Østvang—whom we call "the genius"—also adds his magic, this time with piano, Hammond organ, and various keyboards. There’s no shortage of guitars on this track, with both Totto Johansen and I contributing riffs and flair. Henrik Maarud played the beautiful melody line on piano and keyboards, a line his brother Amund had composed verbally during a fun session the three of us had at Snaxville in December 2023. As usual, the excellent John Birkeland handles the drums with finesse. I’m truly lucky!
And not to forget: Marius Hagen has my back as a vocalist with his beautiful harmonies.
