As someone who's raised mice for over 30 years, I can assure you that plenty of mice like cheese…AND meat, too (lean ground beef & white meat poultry are their favorites). I offer my mice fruits, vegetables, as well as meats & cheeses, and most of my mice prefer the meat & cheeses (dry & shredded cheeses are best). I add it to their mash (seed-based) diet as a treat to supplement the various protein enzymes these offer.
