Humble request to Tata motors.
Please develop a new body on frame SUV with dimensions of (4420 mm - L, 1720 mm - H, 1900 mm - W, 2710 mm wheelbase) with new gen boxy squared of design and with wide tracks. Only need it in 5 seat, 4 door configuration with extreme durable hardware and long lasting components in mind.
Suspension must be setup for rugged offroad trail as well as highway handling.
Expecting a ground clearance of minimum 230 mm. We want a squat stance with good ground clearance without feeling the narrow, tall, unweildy stance of the old Safari and Scorpio with ugly looking front and rear track. Special mention to not increase the overall height of vehicle to more than 1760 mm and length of vehicle more than 4500 mm. Width of vehicle should be minimum of 1900 mm excluding OVRM and external wheel arch claddings.
Kindly do provide the 2.0 L multijet with rear wheel drive configuration in the same state of tune 170 bhp and 350 nm of torque with Aisin sourced auto transmission. 4 wheel drive hardware from any leading manufacturer (BORGWARNER)
TATA motors please start the new design drawing and R & D in the above mentioned specs for a proper 4 × 4 SUV with excellent long distance mile munching and hardcore offroadability it will be a game changer in the present Imdian automotive segment. Starting price of around 16 lakh would be perfect with all the above specs in trueblue boxy SUV shape.
Hope Tata motors put effort into this project. There should be diversity in product portfolio.
