OpenShot 2.0 Preview #2

Here is a quick look at how OpenShot 2.0 is progressing. Notice our new snapping system, which I'm really excited about. Basically, we now have new visual cues where clips and transitions can snap, and of course, support multiple selections with a bounding box.

This video also contains a sneak peak at our new properties system and keyframe system. I will release much more info on that feature soon! Enjoy!

I've been using openshot 1.4 on my linux machine since I've switched to linux, worked pretty well, Did everything I needed, looking forward to try a new version!! really cool and easy to use software!

I had some videos recorded on a canon 600d. I had tried almost all possible video editors in Linux. (From blender's video sequencer to pitivi). And so far Kden live only worked properly. Others are too buggy to be a video editor.

Looks like you've done a good job with the snapping. Camtasia can be too severe with this feature. Looking forward to test the alpha.

Is there a way to... not snap? I can't place audio cues precisely, as they're temporally too close to certain clips despite being in a different track.
