UGH! I finally got it! Keys are: (Fn) -bottom left of keyboard- press Windows + Prt Sc. I read in a comment that the Fn key has to be on, but there's no indicator on the keyboard that it comes on. I simply clicked it twice, then held down Windows + Prt Sc. Screen flashed, Screenshot automatically saved as a folder in my Pictures. I'm using Windows 8 on an HP dv5 laptop. **Hint: the Windows key is also at bottom left, right next to Fn key. Prt Sc on most keyboards is simply your Insert key, right above Backspace. ** Hope this helps someone, have to screenshot work for a homework assignment. Bleh! Goodluck!

Hey! Thanks for all the comments. The print screen button is in the top right of most keyboards. Also if you have a program like paint or photoshop, you can open that program and paste with ctrl + v. Hope these tips help! Also, it saves in my pictures.

So you press the windows button (the one on the bottm left of your keyboard in between alt and ctrl/fn) and THEN you press prt sc (which should be above your backspace key or to it's right). Worked for me.

You have to have the Fn Lock button on as well and it goes into your photos on your windows 8 desktop in a folder named screenshots

Yes, but forgot to tell the people where the pictures are. Windows creates a folder called Screenshots in My Pictures.

Hey I just figured out a reallly simple way but its kind tricky I had to do it a few times before the screen flashed for me to know that the screen shot was taken. Toshiba windows 8- press the Shift button than prtSc Button at the same time. Do it until the screen flashed than you'll know it worked. View pic in your pictures until screen shots
