General Relativity – Einstein Field Equations

Dear friends hello,
Many people are quoting Einstein in tremendous amounts – and rightly so, since he remains the greatest scientist of the modern age – but few really deeply understand the very essence of his Relativity. But we're here today to get a glimpse - not into his everyday wisdom - but deep into the mathematics of his grand theory itself. In the video is explained in detail what is behind Einstein's idea to relate the geometry of spacetime to the distribution of matter within it. As Wheeler said, in EFE (Einstein’s Field Equations), spacetime tells mass how to move and mass tells spacetime how to curve.
The main ingredients of Einstein’s Field Equations which are the essence of his General Relativity are explained in an easy to understand manner and supported by many animations: Einstein tensor, the metric tensor (which is Pythagoras for curved space), the Ricci tensor (used to express the curvature in Riemann space), the Christoffel symbol (implied in Ricci), the Ricci curvature scalar, the cosmological constant (the energy density of space or vacuum energy closely related to dark energy) and the stress energy momentum tensor.
Enjoy!
Love and light, Biljana
