I had a stalker in high school. He would wait for me outside the restroom. It was so creepy and I was afraid that he would come inside and do something to me. It went on for months.

“Trust your instincts, ” so true. No balanced or decent persons would ever stalk victims/or, people of color, or women. “Keep your back to the wall” in public places so you can see what’s going on.

He started showing up at my job unannounced..I told him I was not interested..8 years later he shows up at my front door talking to my youngest son asking for my#.. He works in the school system. I think he found my son records..This is so creepy..

Yeah four days ago a man at the store gave me his number, and 2 days later he showed up at my front door. Apparently my dad saw his car the day I went home and he was driving up and down my street the very first day he met me. Either followed me or drove all over the neighbor hood looking for me.

If you have money and/or trustworthy friends and family members you can follow the stalker and record everything they do. Stalker would freak out if stalked by the stalked person, but you can not do that, it is against the law.

I rent a property that had a pre-existing stalker just recently released from jail on crack priors and he comes right onto the property and stands next to my window at night there’s no lighting at all absolutely pitch black around my house that I rent and I pay over $1220 plus utilities I have told the landlords because I was recently for 11 years prior to this at home owner so I’m new to the scene of being a renter again and it’s just unacceptable and they said they were going to install ring cameras and today nothings been done he was supposed to come over today came today and just collected the money for the storage unit but didn’t follow through with the ring cameras and tonight and the perpetrator has shoved my huge garbage totes down into my yard where I had them put strategically because that’s where he cuts through to stand by my window by the time I get outside with my dog he’s already fled to across the street so I am I really just don’t know what to do I am 58 years old and I’m just tired of this BS where criminals have all the rights and I’ve just come off of a situation where I’m dealing with tenants and didn’t want to pay rent when they all had county jobs and just I lost everything so am I just wanna be left alone and to enjoy peaceful possession any suggestions

Real life case here (and it's debatable if this is considered full blown stalking or not): Throughout month of Oct, 2022, , , Jeff patronized this on local bar "BRANDY's" perhaps 5 times. Even though he and she never formed a personal intimate relationship or anything, , and they really never got to knowing each other THAT well, , , Jeff (secretly) developed the HOTs for bartender Sandy especially since she was quite bubbley and chummy with Jeff those few times. Then Jeff is sent out of town on business for several months. He returns in Feb, 2023. Jeff drops in at "Brandy's" and as it's a male bartender he has, he casually gives comment to "Sandy". The male bartender (assuming that Jeff and Sandy may have known each other quite welll) then says, , , '"Oh Sandy left us a couple weeks back. She's now working at "RUBEN's" grill. So normally, , Jeff would've never bothered to go to "Ruben's grill, , being it's 6 miles across town. But just the same (the next day) Jeff DOES drive to Ruben's grill. His intention was to play "innocent" first time customer there, , and to (1) not mention Sandy's name at all, , , and to (2) Not mention "Brandy's" at all. His plan is to just sit at the bar there, , , predicting his server MIGHT be Sandy, , and if it is here, , his intention is to "play dumb" as if he and Sandy never ever met before (and with his plan to not even mention Brandy's bar, , where Sandy use to work). Well the thing was, , Sandy was NOT working that night, , so he had no rendezvous with Sandy (at her new place) anyway. Now in my humble opinion, , , this is definitely a case of at least "BORDER Line stalking" (or semi-stalking). I say that because, , IF that new bartender had not mentioned" "Ruben's Grill and Sandy", , , Jeff would've never ever driven six miles out of his way to go there in first place. It was not on his beaten track, , , and the ONLY reason Jeff drove some 6 miles 'out of his normal routine" TO Reuben's is because (IN the back of Jeff's mind) he was "hoping" to encounter Sandy (a female who really didn't know Jeff from the Man on the Moon) again. Nothing too much wrong when Jeff mentioned "Sandy" his first day back at "Brandys" but he sort of OVERstepped his boundaries next day by driving soo far out of his way to the spot where Sandy's "new" job was (when normally Jeff would've NEVER visited Reuben's during normal circumstances. So yes, , , Jeff was indeed, , guilty of STALKing. Probably a good thing that Sandy was NOT working that one day, , otherwise she may have TOTALLY freaked out over Jeff's presence, , especially as he was all alone.

This content of How To Protect Yourself From Potential Stalkers via the Today youtube channel with Loni Coombs and Megyn Kelly has some helpful examples. I recently confided in my husband about a stalker situation to be on the safe side, however I am glad that this youtube video is available to remind me that it is ok and understandable to trust in my instincts about a situation.

It's true. You must trust your instincts. And yes you MUST have documentation.
