I can tell you that being able to change the swing weight by swapping out that screw is a much more visually attractive proposition than having to cover the back with unsightly led tape

For the 5 percent of golfers that this is actually for, this is great. Instead of lead tape or much heavier shafts to get the ball flight down, you can change the head weight. If you want a heavier pw and a lighter long iron it is possible with these.

I don't mind the screw as it actually serves a purpose. I tend to play shorter than average irons and anything to make swing weighting easier is appreciated.

The weighted screw is a bit of an eye sore but I think it will help in fitting for swing weight easier and without changing the location of the CoG.

I love my old Apex UT cuz of the screw. It gives the shots I could never achieve before. I think the center weighting provides more stable and solid feeling. I can’t wait to try these awesome looking blades!

Have to say it (well not really but I'm going to) TaylorMade had blades out about ten years ago with a bolt in the back

Hey Al, I think think screw in the back of the iron looks ok. People may look at it the same as when the adjustment sleeve came out on the current woods. To some people they make it look bulky and not needed, but now are a standard of just about every wood. I wouldn't be surprised if callaway started to offer different weighted screws for the iron in the future

I think the 'screw' is telling you that a LOT of people are starting to order Midsized and +4 grips and the swing weights are going out of wack - thus the screw to make the heads heavier - nevermind the taller guys with Midsized Grips. Better question is why aren't more people doing it??
