As a former level 7 (also male), I agree. It's better to be respectful of all sports. Even a gifted athlete has to put work it. I'm a power/weightlifter/strength athlete now but I still love and respect gymnastics. I'd do it again for fun but I also get anxiety about it since I broke my ankle.

Yah bro for a volleyball player that basically bellyflops everywhere on hard floor and has sustained more injuries than I can count and some how they keep coming back for me. Just from watching yall I can say that gymnastics is crazy hard and I say the hardest sport ever. I have mad respect for you Gunther and your teammates! 😮

I honestly don’t understand why people say it’s not a sport or isn’t that hard. It works everything on you and is filled with a lot of coordination and muscle memory and strength. The people who say that gymnastics aren’t hard or isn’t a sport can’t do a pull-up or just don’t watch it enough to see how difficult it is.

What I love about doing gymnastics is that I can apply the things I learn in gymnastics to any other sport. Doing gymnastics can help you with almost every sport, but there are few sports that can help you with gymnastics.

I am a male gymnast and it is so annoying when some of my friends come up to me and start laughing because I do gymnastics when they can’t do half the stuff I can. They say it’s gay and makes me super sad to where I want to quit. But I remind myself that i can do whatever I want and no one can’t tell me otherwise.

I feel you. I have this problem where people trash me because I do gymnastics. You’re not alone. I’m always with you, along the journey to qualifying for the Olympics.
