An animal having eyes on the sides of its head is a sign that it is likely a prey animal, with the exception of some aquatic predators like sharks. With Blacephalon being a fire type, it’s pretty scary to think that there’s likely another ultra beast out there that hunts a creature as strong as Blacephalon.

I think the red spot of Magnezone is an eye . This is because in Pokemon Sleep, Magnezone has a sleep style called 'watchful sleep' where it's two side eyes remain closed but the red spot/eye moves about as if looking out for danger .

There are many reptiles and fish with their eyes on the sides like Komodo Dragons and Sharks.
