RIGGING UP THE RIG FLOOR

The primary function of the drawworks is to reel out and reel in the drilling line, a large diameter wire rope, in a controlled fashion.
Rigging up is placing and assembling the various parts of equipment that make up the rig, and preparing the rig for drilling.
