I've seen so many complaints about this version and I get it's not spectacular but it works lol I can check work emails, listen to music, stream on almost any platform, play some games, and read books or manga I'm ok with it for the price

I just received mine. I love it. Th e hd8 was too heavy and hurt my wrist. I got the Fire 7 to use as an ereader.

I personally prefer the 8inch version it goes on sale and the price is close to this version. But I do love the fire tablet line. I remember buying the first Fire tablet which at the time was a dramatic price drop of $199

I really don't understand Amazon's marketing here. The Fire HD8+ is very good, comes with 32 GB, stereo speakers, has 3GB RAM, wireless charging and the screen quality is better. Once Amazon Prime Day hits the 8 series will be on sale for what the Fire 7HD is now with 32GB. A new Fire HD 8 should also be just around the corner as most are on 2 year cycles.

Huge bezels make this 7 inch tablet overall dimensions very close to a normal 8-inch Android tablet from a first-tier manufacturer, such as the Lenovo Tab M8 3rd Gen, currently available at my local Staples.

I have this, not that impressive with it. The display isn’t that great, the kindle fire 8HD display is so much better for movies and shows. Love the size and weight. Don’t love the speed, have the 1TB card. Downloading my books took days and the app kicked me out more than once. Mine worked better before the update.

Does the fire 7 have multitasking between two apps because the fire HD 8 and I think the Fire HD 10 got update for you can do split screen multitasking
