HOW TO CURE YOUR MATE GOURD? - Curing process by GauchoLife, Argentinian Style

Ingredients:
-Yerba mate
-Mate Cup

INSTRUCTIONS:
Before you start using your mate gourd, we recommend curing it.
The curing process is very easy.
Fill your gourd to the top with yerba mate, just before touching the metal ring!
Pour hot water inside the gourd.
Let it rest for 24 Hrs.
Empty the gourd by throwing away the yerba mate.
Now you can rinse the leftover with water and it's ready to use!

Keep in mind that due to the absorption of the mate herb, it is common for green spots to appear inside the gourd after curing.
