Have a decal on my cue called the Cue Ball Tracker that shows the 30 and 90 degree lines. Shots using center ball or below usually come off the object ball at 90 degrees but was having issues with shooting above center with the cue ball not going on the 30 degree line all the time. After seeing the cue ball paths at the different speeds you used when going above center on the video, now i get it! Great video!

Pretty good visual description you might mention energy transfer the reason why a cue ball stays on a tangent line longer is how much energy is transferred from one ball to the other ball you have a full ball hit with no Forward rotation or reverse rotation on the Cue ball hundred percent of the energy is transferred from the Cue ball to the object ball when you start to have a cut angle then percentages of energy is transferred from the Cue ball to the object ball some of the energy is not transferred staying with Cue ball.
