Nah guys, you’re all getting it wrong.

As comes with introducing any new movie, tv show or cartoon, people can get things misconstrued! There are a ton of different reasons people will either miss or get wrong before, during or after they watch the series and it can definitely be frustrating!
The M. Night Shyamalan live action Avatar movie isn’t a good adaptation. Azula isn’t the only one who can bend blue flames. We do find out what happened to Zuko’s mother Ursa and Ozai doesn’t just hate Zuko for no reason.
Things even as simple as your bending doesn’t rely on what Nation you are from. Toph does end up reconciling with her family. There are different forms of bending like Blood Bending, Metal Bending, Lightning Bending, etc. Is Avatar an Anime?
But while these things can be easily mistaken, it’s up to us, the fans, to make sure the correct information is out there without being too mean about it. Using Nickelodeon’s original series, Legend of Korra and the Dark Horse comics as our answers, we’ll hopefully set things straight! But Mai’s name isn’t that hard to pronounce!

Are there really people that think Aang is a weak avatar because he didn’t kill the firelord? Honestly that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Aang stayed true to who he is and what he believes in even though everyone was telling him there was no other way. That’s a hard thing to do. In my book, his decision to spare the firelord makes him the strongest avatar.

If Aang had killed Ozai then Ozai would’ve died as the fire lord in a battle. But he didn’t kill Ozai so now Ozai is going to die as a weak powerless old man rotting in a prison cell. I think Aang made the right decision.

Tbh, I’m glad Kataang happened. Katara and Aang were friends from the start which is what I like most about their relationship. My favorite romances are the ones that take time and develops. Katara and Zuko only started getting along for a few episodes.

5:03 There is no Book: Air because he had already learned and mastered airbending. Did others think there was gonna be a Book of Air because I knew that they couldn't and wouldn't. It would have been a cool origin story, who Aang was before the 100 yr war, how he grew up among the monks, but it would serve little purpose beyond that. He quickly masters air so it would be a very short season.

The things you got wrong.

Ursa was banished because Ozai was afraid she would use the poison on her. She didn't just run away.

Obviously your geography in the world doesn't dictate what element you can bend. But your lineage does. And MOST people in the Avatar world live in a section of the world where their particular element is bent most. Just because the foggy swamp tribe are in the Earth Kingdom, doesn't mean they're not Water Nation.

Toph didn't learn bending from the Badger Moles. Toph learned how to control her bending through the Badger Moles. It was something she could do from birth, but simply didn't know how until she was taught. You can speak English from birth as long as you know how to make the mouth noises sound like words. The mouth noises are there, you just have to form them. Bending is there, you just have to train in it.

Honestly, most Japanese people who talk about this show consider it an Anime.. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

I've given up with continuing this comment. This video is just really poorly written.
